Inktracker

Privacy Policy

What We Collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address and optional display name. Your password is hashed with bcrypt and never stored in plain text.

When you use the Inktracker Chrome extension to track games on duels.ink, we collect game log data — cards played, actions taken, and match outcomes — and associate it with your account. No data is collected from any site other than duels.ink.

How We Use It

Your game data is used exclusively to power your personal analytics: win rates, card performance, matchup breakdowns, and similar statistics.

We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to any third party for advertising or any other purpose.

Public Decks and Community Data

By default, every deck and all of its match data is private — only you can see it.

You may choose to make a deck public via the Make Public button on that deck's detail page. Making a deck public means:

  • The deck's name, ink colors, card list, format, and aggregate match statistics become visible to every logged-in user on the Explore page and in the community-scoped versions of the Matrix, Tiers, and Metagame pages.
  • Your display name (or, if unset, the local part of your email — the portion before the @) is shown as the owner of the deck. Your full email address and password are never disclosed.
  • Individual game logs, turn-by-turn actions, and personal performance stats remain private — only aggregated counts (wins, losses, match count, win rate) are pooled for community views.

You can revoke sharing at any time by clicking Make Private on the same deck detail page. The deck and its matches are immediately removed from all community views and from other users' sessions.

API Keys

Your Inktracker API key is used to authenticate requests from the Chrome extension. Treat it like a password. You can regenerate it at any time from your Account page, which immediately invalidates the old key.

Data Storage

Data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Supabase and served via Railway infrastructure. Both providers maintain industry-standard security practices. Data is stored in the United States.

Cookies and Sessions

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in on the website. This cookie is HTTP-only, scoped to inktracker.pro, and expires after 30 days of inactivity. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics cookies.

Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. To request deletion of your account and all associated data, contact us at mattpaskevich@gmail.com.

Chrome Extension Permissions

The Inktracker extension requests the following permissions:

  • activeTab / scripting — to read the game log on duels.ink
  • storage — to persist match state locally between page navigations
  • tabs — to detect when you are on duels.ink
  • Host permission: duels.ink — to inject the capture script
  • Host permission: inktracker.pro — to send captured data to your account

The extension does not read, access, or transmit data from any website other than duels.ink.

Children's Privacy

Inktracker is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
